During the MA Data, Culture and Society programme from the University of Westminster you will learn about some of the technical and practical aspects related to AI and data, the focus will be on encouraging you to think critically about how data is used, the ethical issues around AI, and what the big data revolution means for society now and for future generations.

This interdisciplinary MA – which welcomes graduates from a range of backgrounds – will equip you for fascinating job roles at the nexus of AI, data and communication, with the right expertise and knowledge to talk to data scientists, designers, marketeers, policy advisors and other stakeholders across a variety of disciplines.

While all students study a core introductory module in data science which includes practical lab sessions, you can also extend your technical knowledge via optional modules which explore technologies and applications such as data mining, data visualisation and machine learning.
