Overview
In addition to classical Computer Science-related topics (Data Management, Quantitative Methods, Linear Algebra), the master in Business Intelligence and Data Science offered by the International School of Management (ISM) also covers teaching units on business analysis, big data and data mining and includes many practical business analytics and consulting projects. This enables you to make important predictions within your future company and plays a key role in achieving corporate goals more effectively.
What is a business intelligence analyst?
Business intelligence analysts retrieve, use and analyze data and recommend course of action for a company. They also use big data to help businesses make well-informed decisions and understand their customers better. Business analysts are proficient in computer machiene learning and programming technologies, and systems. You do not need a background in IT in order to become a business analyst.

General requirements
In order to verify that you are eligible to study Master at ISM, we require the following documents:
- Completed application form
- Copy of ID card
- Copy of Bachelor's degree & transcript of records (or equivalent, if available) with at least 15 ECTS credits in economics-related courses, particularly in business administration, economics, business informatics. 10 ECTS of these must be in quantitative subjects.
- School-leaving diploma (such as high school) in the original language and transcript of records
Proof of English language proficiency at min. level B2 (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL language certificates, if your language of instruction was not English)
