Key Features

The traditional on-campus MA program in Archaeology at Simon Fraser University is a full-time, per-term fee program that consists of the following sequential steps for a minimum of 33 units: course requirements, thesis prospectus, colloquium presentation, advancement to candidacy, thesis completion, and defence.
The course requirements, thesis prospectus, and the colloquium presentation should be completed by students by the end of the second term.

a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.33 scale, or 3.33 on a 4.33 scale (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered.
