Overview
About this Degree
Relevant occupational fields of graduates are in architectural, engineering and construction companies, the construction industry, property development and housing associations, real estate companies, the public sector and research and technological development of design and construction.
The students acquire extensive knowledge in design and construction through a combination of series of lectures and modules treating topics such as the design and construction in the areas of urban design, the design of existing buildings, the design of new buildings and built environments. This is accompanied by internationally-oriented projects and a selection of numerous obligatory modules. Advanced Architecture students at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences can concentrate on individual interests due to a specialization project and the offered selection of obligatory modules, which can serve as the central theme of their master's thesis. Furthermore, 30 ECTS credits can be chosen from the German master's degree course in Architecture, if the students possess the necessary German language skills.
