Overview
Key facts
- The objective of the Master's Degree in Architecture for Heritage at Politecnico di Torino is to train an architect in the preservation, enhancement, management, promotion of cultural heritage (as per its international definition) thus acquiring expertise through a two-year program that is structured in single-subject teachings, theme Studios, workshops and seminars, study visits, training activities and/or internships in Italy and abroad.
- The courses are aimed - in virtue of the cross curricular contributions - to the consolidation of the cultural base to then acquire theoretical knowledge, to apply it to design issues and keep to up-to-date on contemporary debates. The Studios adopt appropriate design methodologies and propose solutions using traditional and innovative tools; they have a cross curricular nature and include workshops, seminars and field visits to tackle design simulations on real case studies.
