Overview

The Master of Project Management programme from Abu Dhabi University is designed to be in line with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) developed by the Project Management Institute. This prepares the students to take the exam of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification offered by the PMI and makes the course more attractive to professionals and engineers who plan to become certified Project Managers.

Key facts

The degree curriculum consists of 10 courses (30 credit hours), 6 of which are core courses, 2 are programme elective courses, and 2 are business courses. The student could also do a research project in lieu of one elective.

Upon completion of the 6 core courses, students will be offered two certificates from Abu Dhabi University, the first one is a Certificate in Project Management Fundamentals, and the second is a Certificate in Advanced Project Management.

The new programme accepts students with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, computer science, or information technology.

A Bachelor’s degree in a directly related discipline from an accredited university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.

A minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0-point scale.

Copy of Updated CV.

A true copy of an equivalency letter from the UAE Ministry of Education for applicants graduating from universities outside the UAE, in addition to a true copy of the certified Bachelor degree certificate and transcript.

Original equivalency letter issued by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education for any qualification issued outside the UAE.

A police clearance certificate issued by any of the police departments located throughout the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
