Overview
This course is primarily aimed at students who have a keen interest in the use of big data and quantitative methods, including artificial intelligence models, useful to the design of economic policies both at the micro- and macro-economic level, to the strategic choices of companies, and to the finance and insurance fields.The course aims to deepen both the computational, statistical, and econometric aspects related to the processing of big data and digital data, as well as the skills to interpret the underlying phenomena.Students will acquire data processing skills to interpret and analyse complex phenomena in the fields of economics, strategy, marketing, human resources, finance, accounting and social sciences in general. Furthermore, the course will provide advanced skills on machine learning techniques to extract patterns and predictive models from digital data.
The programme offers to its students the opportunity to participate in a Joint degree with a partner university.
