Overview

The Diplomacy programme is offered by University of Malta .

Through the taught units offered, you will learn about international relations, history, economics, law and diplomacy, in addition to an elective unit of your choice to accompany your compulsory units. Throughout this year-long full-time course, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate your acquired knowledge by carrying out a long essay during the second semester.

• As a successful holder of this degree, you will have the opportunity to enter a career locally and globally in the international relations field, both in the public and private sectors. 

• As a recognised and qualified diplomat, you will have a keen and insightful approach towards problem solving, with a better capacity to recognise and understand the differences between cultures, organisations, companies and individuals.

• If you are interested in furthering your studies, you may do so by enrolling in an alternative masters’ programme offered by the Department of Mediterranean academy of Diplomatic Studies, or pursue a doctorate in a foreign institution abroad.
