Overview

Security by Design at Singapore University of Technology and Design is one-of-a-kind in that it focuses on bringing cybersecurity at the design stage of critical infrastructure and enterprise networks. This focus enables the training of a special type of engineer who can not only contribute to the security of organizations that do online business, but also to the security of large scale public infrastructures such as power grid, water treatment and distribution, transportation, and oil and natural gas processing.

General requirements

The MSSD programme is open to graduates with a degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or mathematics. A sound mathematical background and computer programming skills are required of entering students. The programme is open to all students including foreigners.

An applicant should possess:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or any branch of engineering; or
A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with two years ICT industry experience.
