Overview
The Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from University of New Brunswick's students develop the knowledge and skills to understand the theoretical bases of curriculum, to critically examine current issues in education and to engage effectively in areas such as curriculum development, pedagogical innovation and program evaluation.
Students will have opportunities to do advanced studies and research in one or more subject areas related to school curriculum, or to focus on unique contexts such as Aboriginal communities or French immersion settings.
To meet graduation requirements, students must complete one of these three routes:
- Thesis Route 30 credit hours (5 courses + the 15 credit hour thesis)
- Project Route 30 credit hours (8 courses + the 6 credit hour project)
- Course Route 30 credit hours (10 courses)
