Overview

Students graduating from the Resource and Environmental Planning Program from Simon Fraser University, receive the degree of Master of Resource Management (Planning).

They are eligible for membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Planning Institute of B.C. and can receive professional designation as a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) upon completing the certification requirements set by the Planning Standards Board.

Features

Graduates who attain the RPP designation are also eligible for certification as professional planners in the United States, Great Britain, and Australia through reciprocal agreements between Canada and these other countries.

a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.33 scale, or 3.33 on a 4.33 scale (B+) based on the last 60 credits of undergraduate courses. All graduate work is also considered.
