Overview

The First Manufacturing Engineering Programme to be engineered by Müdek, the department at Atilim University aims to graduate creative and innovative Manufacturing Engineers that are knowledgeable in the current technology, and are able to use production resources in an effective and sustainable way that never disregards environmental facts.

As the first Department to implement the Cooperative Education Programme at Atılım University in coordination with institutions from the industry, the Manufacturing Engineering offers a practice-oriented approach in education with its laboratory infrastructure and research opportunities.

Outcomes

Ability to apply knowledge in mathematics and basic sciences and computational skills to solve manufacturing engineering problems

Ability to define and analyze issues related with manufacturing technologies

Ability to develop a solution based approach and a model for an engineering problem and design and manage an experiment

Ability to design a comprehensive manufacturing system based on creative utilization of fundamental engineering principles while fulfilling sustainability in environment and manufacturability and economic constraints

Ability to choose and use modern technologies and engineering tools for manufacturing engineering applications

Original copy or photocopy of the acceptance letter.

Original passport and photocopy of the passport.

4 Photographs.

Original diplomas, transcripts and their certified translations into Turkish or English.

Original copies of equivalency certificates, if available (The candidates who are accepted to graduate programmes must initially check with the Registrar’s Office staff whether their undergraduate and master’s degree diplomas have equivalency approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The candidates can individually apply to YÖK to obtain their equivalency certificates or the University can help with the process.

Original copy of the internationally recognized English Proficiency Certificates.

Original copy of the Turkish Proficiency Certificate for the candidates accepted to the programmes that require Turkish language proficiency.

Copies of all bank receipts for deposit payments.
