Overview
The vision of the International Relations programme from Atilim University is to train students who are knowledgeable in domestic and international politics, committed to regional specialisation, and capable of conducting extensive research in the discipline of International Relations.
Department of International Relations is one of the oldest institutions of Atılım University. We adhere closely to our University’s main principles: we endeavour to train and educate our students to ensure that they all become very efficient and capable individuals in their fields of study as well as in their professional life following their graduation. It is also our endeavour to make sure that our students acquire and develop a high degree of social responsibility. Our academics, who have obtained their training and education from respected national and international universities, do their best to produce up-to-date-knowledge for the use of our students.
Job Opportunities
We cooperate with private firms through our Career Planning Office as well as İŞKUR’s Office so that our students get real life experience in business world. For instance, we provide our students with every opportunity to find part-time work, should they so wish, while doing their third and final years here, to be better prepared for work following graduation.Programme Structure

General requirements
- Original copy or photocopy of the acceptance letter.
- Original passport and photocopy of the passport.
- 4 Photographs.
- Original diplomas, transcripts and their certified translations into Turkish or English.
- Original copies of equivalency certificates, if available (The candidates who are accepted to graduate programmes must initially check with the Registrar’s Office staff whether their undergraduate and master’s degree diplomas have equivalency approved by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). The candidates can individually apply to YÖK to obtain their equivalency certificates or the University can help with the process.
- Original copy of the internationally recognized English Proficiency Certificates.
- Original copy of the Turkish Proficiency Certificate for the candidates accepted to the programmes that require Turkish language proficiency.
- Copies of all bank receipts for deposit payments.
