Theory Formation and Malay Epistemology (Research) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, it enables research, publication, student supervision and so on to be administered in a focused manner. In terms of infrastructure for research and teaching, ATMA is equipped with archaeological laboratories, postgraduate rooms and other necessary facilities.

Students who follow the program at ATMA do not only acquire information from their supervisors but also have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge by attending courses offered such courses for Malay World and Civilization studies, Research Methodology I, Research Methodology II and Academic Writing for Postgraduate Course.

Bachelor’s Degree by obtaining a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from a University or any institution of higher learning recognized by the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) and/ or having accreditation recognized by foreign Accreditation Body, or institution who has accreditation as prescribed by a programme;
Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University or any institution of higher learning or an equivalent degree from any institution of higher learning recognized by the Senate;
any other requirements recognized by the Senate obtained through the Accreditation pf Prior Experiential Learning (APEL);
fulfils other requirements prescribed by the programme (if applicable); and
fulfils requirements of the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA)
