About the Program
The Department of Home Economics Education at Korea University was established in 1971 as the Department of Home Economics in the College of Science and Technology, and in 1972 as the Department of Home Education at the College of Education, has produced social experts in various fields related to life science, including secondary school tutors, through a 50-year history. Home Economics Education, Children and gajokhak, Clothing and Textiles, Food & Nutrition, Home Management , Consumer Studies, jugeohak sector offers the opportunity to have forms a large trunk of the curriculum, learning the professional knowledge of home economics information based on the philosophy of home education are doing It also aims to help people and families solve various problems in daily life through systematic and critical scientific approaches in a practical and independent way, and to improve the quality of human life by suggesting ideal norms for family life culture. aim.
