Overview
This Curatorial Studies Master's Degree at University of Navarra allows you to learn and experience the curatorial internship by doing it in an ideal environment, a museum: the Museo Universidad de Navarra. Thus, our students are immersed in the internship and the daily activity of a creative center, getting to know its day-to-day life, its daily dynamics and its great moments firsthand.
Why take the Master in Curatorial Studies at University of Navarra?
- Its exhibition program is based on two legacies: the photography collection (comprising 22,000 photographs and more than 200,000 negatives) with pieces by renowned photographers such as Laurent, Cliff Ord, Ortiz Echagüe, and contemporary artists such as Lynne Cohen, Roland Fischer and Joan Fontcuberta. The painting and sculpture collection includes modern and contemporary works by national and international artists such as Rothko, Picasso, Kandisnky, Tàpies and Oteiza.
- The training proposal is completed with visits to important spaces and proposals in other cities, selected each year within and outside Spain and Europe: in cities such as Bilbao, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, New York, Berlin or London. The outings and stays include meetings with professionals of the sector with whom to approach the reality and functioning of the different cultural and creative centers.
