Overview
The Mathematics program of the University of Calabria provides students with advanced knowledge of pure and applied mathematics, history and didactics of mathematics, and computer science. Students will develop abilities in mathematical reasoning, problem solving and mathematical modelling. Students have also several opportunities of studying abroad, one option being the Erasmus+ mobility programs. At the end of the course, graduates can be employed in several working sectors such as banks, I.T. companies and insurance companies. Graduates can also continue their training towards teaching mathematics and science and doing research in public and private institutes.

General requirements
- Those who have a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics can be admitted to the Master's Degree Course in Mathematics. Those who hold a degree in a related discipline can also be considered, provided they have an adequate knowledge of Mathematics. In particular they need to have acquired at least 54 ECTS in the following sectors: MAT/01-09, INF/01, ING-INF/05, FIS/01-08 and SECS-S/01-06 of which no less than 30 in the sectors MAT/01-09.
- Candidates are also required to be able to use the English language fluently, in both written and oral form. More precisely, the level of linguistic knowledge required upon entry is at least equal to level B2.
