Overview
The Advanced Chemical and Process Engineering (distance learning) degree at the University of Strathclyde is designed to develop advanced skills and knowledge in the areas of chemical engineering, and chemical and process technology.
It may also be suitable for graduates of related science and engineering disciplines who are working in chemical and process industries, provided that they have enough background in chemical engineering. Graduates of other engineering and science disciplines may also be interested in the MSc Process Technology and Management, which has a chemical engineering conversions semester at the start of the course.
A two-year postgraduate diploma option and one-year postgraduate certificate are also available.

Academic requirements
- Normally at least a second-class Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in chemical engineering or relevant engineering, technology or science discipline. Other qualifications may be considered if they meet the same standard.
- Students must currently be working in a relevant role that will allow completion of the work-based project.
