Education Leadership and Management is suitable for candidates who display intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and have balanced academic excellence with co-curricular diversity.

Offered by the Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE) at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), the Education Leadership and Management programme combines rigorous academics with in-depth practical training enabling students to think critically and innovatively about the educational landscape in Pakistan. Some of the areas explored include education technology, curriculum/assessment, and the politics of education.

General requirements

A minimum of 16 years of education leading to a degree Programme is required for applying to the MPhil Education Leadership and Management.
Applicants who hold a Bachelor's degree of less than four years duration or have earned their Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree from foreign institutions must provide an equivalence certificate verifying 16 years of education, issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Similarly, applicants who have obtained their degrees from institutions not listed with the HEC, Pakistan, will be required to obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the HEC.
