Tel Aviv University 's Emergency and Disaster Management , is the first and only program of its kind offered in Israel. It will fast-track you into becoming one of the new generations of leaders who will protect and make our communities more prepared and resilient in these ever-challenging times.
This degree is aimed at professionals with field experience and/or those looking to understand and develop an effective disaster management program. Our program will guide you into developing new, innovative, and critical ways of thinking when defining intervention plans for emergency and disaster situations. More importantly, you’ll also learn how to put these plans into action.
Our multidisciplinary curriculum encompasses a diverse range of fields:
- Disaster Management, Emergency Medicine, Public Health, Humanitarian Aid, Crisis Communication, Crisis Management, Cyber Security, CBRNE and more.
Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, a world leader in emergency preparedness and management, this program offers our students from around the globe an opportunity to study and engage with some of the leading Israeli and international experts and faculty that contribute to emergency and disaster management.

- Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 80 on a scale of 100.
- Diploma (Graduation Certificate) and Official transcript from each post-secondary school (college or university) you attended.
- Professionally certified English translations of each transcript (where applicable) must be included.
- Personal essay - of 400-600 words (no more than 600 words) describing why you have chosen to pursue studies at the Master of Disaster Management program, and in Israel, focusing on how the program fits into your overall professional growth; and how you will contribute to the program and class dynamics.
