Overview

Translation and Interpreting for Public Services and Institutions' students gain theoretical and applied knowledge about the development and use of language in multilingual social and institutional contexts, develop translation and interpretation skills in administrative, medical, legal, educational fields, as well as study the details of intercultural communication ethics and behavioral models in designated areas of social interaction.

In addition, here at RUDN University, they master multilingual linguistic corpora, digital resources and technologies of remote translation, they practice simultaneous translation on professional equipment in the booths of simultaneous interpreters.

Teachers involved in the training combine academic and practical experience, have doctoral degrees and act as practicing translators and interpreters in international and national institutions.
In the course of training, the program provides regular seminars with foreign practicing translators.
