Overview
The Architecture programme at the University of Malta encourages you to work independently and over a broad range of art and design disciplines to challenge how architecture is practiced in the real world. It calls upon you to come up with a unique proposal of your choosing under the tutelage of experts in the Faculty for the Built Environment.
With such a vast array of options, you can decide to focus on schematic de-sign and space planning, light and colour perception, theory, modelling, or even materials. A dissertation will ask you to write cogently and in detail about the subject.
Career opportunities
- As a graduate in the Masters of Fine Arts in Architecture, you will be employable, both locally and internationally, as an illustrator, architect, artist, photographer, fashion/interior/graphic designer, museum officer, commercial art gallery manager and as a teacher.
- Access to further study is also avail-able through doctorate postgraduate courses offered by the University of Malta and by foreign institutions abroad.
