Students learn different practical and powerful approaches to model, understand, predict and validate responses of materials and structures encountered in almost all engineering disciplines.
One of the unique characteristics of COMMAS is that it is an interdisciplinary program and has close cooperation with the faculties of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. The Computational Mechanics of Materials and Structures program from University of Stuttgart has strong collaborations with local and international research centers as well as industrial partners.
Programme Structure
Courses include:
- Overview of Modules section gives the detailed description of each module, corresponding lecturer and external links for the module.
- In the Institutes & Lecturers section, students can find information about some of the Institutes involved in the teaching and corresponding lecturers.
- Furthermore, students can find the timetable for the current semester and recommended list of references in the sections Timetable and Literature, respectively.
