This Health Care Administration and Service Management is offered at Conestoga College .

In this highly engaging and interactive programme, you will participate in classes in-person and online.

Over four semesters of classes, you will analyze and apply leadership theories and develop key management skills in areas such as communication, finance, human resources, and operations. Throughout the programme, you will practice and enhance your use of professional strategies such as critical thinking, evidence-based decision-making, quality improvement methodologies, creativity, self-awareness, and initiative. Guided by experienced faculty with diverse healthcare expertise, you will examine real-world scenarios, engage in discussions, participate in teamwork exercises, and develop professional skills, setting you up for success in future leadership roles.

Graduates will be well-prepared for administrative roles in health care organizations such as home and community care services, hospitals, dental clinics, allied health clinics, pharmacies, and private facilities or organizations.

General requirements

A two - or three-year diploma or a degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university

OR

a combination of academic studies and a minimum of 3 years of related client-facing industry/professional experience.
Test scores, if required, would be a minimum of TOEFL iBT 88 with no individual skill less than 22; IELTS 7.0, a Writing band no less than 6.5, and no bands less than 6.0; CAEL 70 with no sub-test band scores less than 60; PTE Academic 58; Conestoga English Language Test (CELT) Band 6; Cambridge Exams 180 with no individual score less than 170; or equivalent scores in other recognized standard tests of English.

All students entering this program must:

have a laptop computer that meets minimum specified requirements
own and maintain their laptop

bring their laptop on the first day of classes.

This program has established that a Windows-based PC is required. Mac or Apple products are not suitable for this program.
