You choose one subject of specialisation from the three major subjects: inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. As electives we offer analytical chemistry, biochemistry, chemical material sciences, geochemistry and environmental chemistry, theoretical chemistry, industrial chemistry as well as fields of study from biology, computer science, mathematics and physics.

As a graduate of the Chemistry programme from University of Konstanz, you will have acquired a qualification profile that is relevant to modern research. If you wish to deepen your scientific knowledge and skills, you will be qualified to take up doctoral studies.

advanced skills in English (at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
If you completed your university degree in a country that did not sign the Lisbon Treaty (ETS No. 165), you will need to provide documentation of a GRE test with at least a combined average score of 150 points (verbal reasoning and quantitative reasoning score).
