The Choreomundus - International Master in Dance Knowledge, Practice and Heritage at the University of Roehampton is a two-year Erasmus Mundus joint master’s programme that explores dance and movement practices from a comparative, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary perspective. Syllabus
The curriculum of the Choreomundus programme is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of dance knowledge, practice, and heritage through a variety of modules, including:
- Extended Essay (Dissertation 3) - A research-based module where students conduct a project on a chosen topic, culminating in a thesis that critically discusses their findings.
- The Performance of Heritage: Dance in Museums, Galleries and Historic Sites - This module investigates the role of dance in contemporary curatorial practices and how it can serve as an interpretive tool in heritage contexts.
