Syllabus

The curriculum of the Choreomundus programme is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of dance knowledge, practice, and heritage through a variety of modules, including:

• Extended Essay (Dissertation 3) - A research-based module where students conduct a project on a chosen topic, culminating in a thesis that critically discusses their findings.
• The Performance of Heritage: Dance in Museums, Galleries and Historic Sites - This module investigates the role of dance in contemporary curatorial practices and how it can serve as an interpretive tool in heritage contexts.
• Dance Facilitation in Social Context - Focuses on socially engaged participatory dance, equipping students with the skills to facilitate dance within community settings.

The programme also includes an induction in France, followed by semesters at NTNU Trondheim, University of Szeged, and concludes at Roehampton, ensuring a rich and varied learning experience.
