The aim of M.Tech. programme, is to help graduates and working professionals enhance their professional qualifications and career prospects. This programme imparts solid foundation followed by advanced knowledge in one or more specialized areas.

Security, Theory and Algorithms (C-STAR) has highly qualified faculty, good computing facilities, and a well equipped centre library apart from the central library of the institute. The two year program contains a mix of courses from Comptuer Science, information security, security management, and advanced elective courses.

Objectives

The M. Tech. Computer Science and Information Security at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad program is part of the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) project under the aegis of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT). It shares the following objectives:
