Program Details

Rapid, unplanned and extensive development activities in Turkey lead to serious environmental problems. Minimizing environmental damages and increasing need for sustainable development have increased the demand for qualified environmental engineers who can work in industry, public and supervisory institutions. Today, water, wastewater, industrial wastewater treatment and solid waste management have gained importance as well as water supply, wastewater collection and disposal in Turkey.

Environmental Engineering program is offered by Marmara University .

The concept of sustainability is emphasized at every point of teaching. In laboratories equipped with the latest technology, studies are carried out especially in the fields of water, waste-water and solid waste.
