Overview
The curriculum achieves an ideal balance between theoretical knowledge and practical application. You will engage in core modules like Basics of Biological Evidence, Firearms and Tool Marks Analysis, and Quality Assurance Standards in Forensic Laboratories. A key component of the programme is the completion of a research thesis, providing you with the opportunity to explore innovative topics and contribute significantly to the field. With its interdisciplinary approach, the programme prepares you to develop innovative methods and techniques for solving crimes and identifying individuals.
One of the programme’s standout features is its collaboration with leading institutions, such as Queen’s University Belfast, and its Industrial Advisory Board (IAB), composed of experts and industry leaders. This ensures the curriculum remains closely aligned with real-world practices and sustainable development goals (SDGs). You will also have ample opportunities for professional growth through workshops, seminars, and conferences, enhancing both your research capabilities and practical skills.
