Through the Theatre and Performance Practices programme of the University of Glasgow you will be encouraged to develop a reflective, rigorous and critically informed approach to theatre practice, with the intention of enriching and enhancing your creative work and furthering your career as a theatre/performance practitioner.
- The Theatre and Performance Practices programme of the University of Glasgow is delivered by leading academics in collaboration with theatre practitioners’ active in Glasgow's performance scene and beyond.
- A significant part of the programme is delivered by professional practitioners, ensuring the programme content is relevant and up to date with the latest developments in theatre and performance.
- The facilities include a large flexible-seat theatre seating over 200 spectators as well as smaller studio spaces
- Glasgow is home to a huge variety of theatres that produce and show a range from the experimental and risky, to the traditional and repertory, from canonical and new writing, to devised and physical performance. World-leading venues include the Citizens’ Theatre, Tramway, Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) and the Glue Factory.
