Overview
In the course of the Business and Financial Economics program at Kyiv School of Economics, students will gain solid knowledge of applied economics and finance, including market analysis, financial statement analysis, principles of finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, corporate valuations and portfolio management.
What you'll study
Students will also develop strong skills in data analysis, computational methods, and business communication to earn competitive positions in the rapidly evolving professional marketplace in the field of business and finance analytics.
The program is exclusively taught in English by economists who received their PhD from universities in Europe and Northern America and by professors with MBA degrees and economists-practitioners.
KSE is an extension campus of the University of Houston and our program is accredited by the relevant US accreditation agencies and meets international standards. KSE students have an opportunity to receive a Master diploma from the University of Houston.
Education format – hybrid: 40% offline and 60% online.
Scholarship opportunity
This year, applicants to the BFE master’s program have an opportunity to apply for a scholarship and/or mentorship from the Ampersand Foundation, which fully (100%) or partially (50%) covers the cost of the tuition. To apply for the scholarship, you need to:
- apply by filling out a questionnaire, which must be accompanied by a CV in English and a cover letter essay on “What matters most to you, and why?” up to 800 words;
- successfully pass an interview with Ampersand representatives.

General requirements
- Fill in an application form and attach scans of such documents:
- passport
- document of previous education (bachelor’s diploma or university graduation certificate in the year of admission).
- consent to personal data collection and processing (attached here)
- Based on these documents, we will create an invitation form and confirm it in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine register.

- Step 2: Inform us whether you want to pass entrance exams online or offline. Admission process begins on August 16th and ends on August 23rd.
- Step 3: Pass our entrance exam (online/offline in Kyiv). It will be held from August 17 to September 19.
- Step 4: Sign your tuition contract and start your way in KSE!
- Please note that foreign students who want to pass an exam offline are required to have a visa for entering Ukraine for the purpose of studies by August 17.
