Program Description

The graduates of the Hydraulic Engineering program from Tsinghua University are recruited for the primary disciplines with research directions on hydrology and water resources, hydraulics and fluvialdynamics, coastal ports and offshore engineering, hydraulic structure engineering, hydraulic and hydropower engineering, geotechnical engineering, and engineering project management.

Doctoral candidates are recruitedalso according to the primary disciplineswhose research directions cover water and sediment science and river engineering, hydrology and water resources, hydraulics and water environment, flood and disaster prevention and mitigation, port fairway and offshore engineering, rock-soil mechanics and engineering, concrete materials and structure, hydraulic hub engineering, hydraulic engineering technology and management, hydraulic ination and digital hydraulic engineering, and construction project management. In recent years, around 45 doctoral candidates and 40-50 graduates are enrolled from multiple channels, such as exam-free recommendation by Tsinghua University, exam-free recommendation by other universities, and graduate students entrance examination.
