The Biology - Variant one year Master's programme at at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf comprises only two semesters and serves almost exclusively to prepare students for independent scientific work.

For access to the 1-year variant (MBIO1), a subject-relevant course of study with a standard period of study of at least 8 semesters is required.
