Overview

The necessity of this Information Technologies for Telecommunications specialization at at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi (TUIASI) derives from the large share of SW systems in all embedded and telecommunication systems, networks and services, covering a wide range of basic software, network and applications. In these directions, the graduates will have knowledge and capabilities on defining and specifying the initial system requirements, defining and structuring software architectures, specifying, validating, designing, implementing, testing, integrating, maintaining and developing software subsystems. The graduates of the programme shall have a vision at the system level and conduct designing procedures by highlighting different levels, from hardware devices and platforms, to software techniques and means, to communication and interconnecting aspects.

EU / EEA / Swiss Confederation citizens must acquire a recognition of graduated studies for admission in a Romanian higher education institution, which will have to be assessed by the Romanian Centre for Equivalence and Recognition of Diplomas (CNRED).

Non-EU citizens’ application file must include application form and copies of study documents, academic records for completed studies, birth certificate, passport, medical certificate, international English language certificate, document proving residence abroad and document proving payment of the file processing fee.
