Overview
The Slavery Studies program at University of Bonn is aimed at students with a focus on or interest in text-based scholarship, material culture studies and social sciences. It is designed to allow students to learn about slavery and slavery-like phenomena while developing an individual and specialized research profile.
Courses covering case studies do not only address certain examples in detail but also provide an opportunity for students to apply knowledge from introductory courses to case studies of their interest.
