The Master's Degree by coursework programme is designed to extend the knowledge and skills gained from the first degree and to develop new professional skills in the student. The programme involves lectures, seminars and project work. While for Masters in Mechanical Engineering (Research), the students are required to conduct a particular research project under supervision of supervisor/s. Thesis of this project must be submitted towards the end of programme. A viva session will be held to evaluate the award of Masters of Mechanical Engineering (Research). Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology from recognized institutions with minimum CPA ≥ 2.50
Working experiences in related field for those who do not meet the minimum CPA 2.50 (1 year working experience equavalent to 0.1 pointer). For example, if a candidate with 5 years working experiences and CPA 2.50: Calculation = 2.50 + (5 x 0.1) = 2.50 + 0.50 = 3.00)
International students are required to meet a minimum score of TOEFL 500, IELTS 5or MUET Band 3
Other qualification equivalent to a Bachelor Degree with related experience deemed acceptable by the University Senate
