Overview

The Environmental Engineering from University Dunarea de Jos of Galati is the main regional provider for specialists in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Engineering and Management, Environmental Engineering, Materials Engineering and Applied Sciences in Engineering.

To offer our students the possibility to develop new techniques and a solid career, our educational offer includes master’s study programs that continuously form experts in our six areas of undergraduate study programs and PhD programs in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Materials Engineering.

The University Dunarea de Jos of GalatI aims to ensure the quality of the teaching activity at national and international standards through:

improving the curricula, analytical programs and the teaching and evaluation methods;
improving the education based on transferable study credits, to ensure for student the possibility of transferring from one study program to another and the international recognition of diplomas granted by the University;
developing and diversifying the concerns related to digitalizing the didactic-formative process;
discovering, stimulating and enhancing the student's abilities, paying special attention to individual values.

Programme Structure

The professors are competent, well-trained professionally, selected trough competitions, based on rigorous criteria like the European ones. Professors are constantly perfecting their skills either through doctoral programs, postdoctoral grants and postgraduate study programs that they follow around the world or through European programs of teaching and training carried out through bilateral agreements signed with prestigious universities in European Union member countries.
