You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above

Your qualification should be in linguistics, English language, modern languages, or a subject which has included a significant linguistic component (e.g. a linguistics pathway or minor). Alternatively, you should have a degree (or equivalent) in any subject, and substantial work experience (two years’ full-time or equivalent) in a language-related profession (for example language teacher, language support assistant or translator). You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
