The program in Accounting, Finance and Business Consulting at University of Padua provides tools to solve complex business problems and contributes to the continuous updating of strategies, processes, investments and financing decisions according to the constraints and opportunities emerging in different sectors.

Career opportunities

Graduates are provided with skills and knowledges to work as: chief financial officers (CFO), administrative directors, division managers, accounting managers, external and internal auditors, planning and control managers, members of supervisory bodies, compliance managers, financial analysts, investment portfolio managers. It also facilitates access to the mandatory exam for chartered accountant.

Programme Structure

Students must choose one of the following curricula:

Accounting, control and corporate finance: Reporting, Governance, Business analytics, Control; Corporate and Entrepreneurial Finance; Strategy and Organization; Economics, Competition and Innovation; Financial Mathematics and Statistics; Corporate Law.
Banking and finance: Computational Finance and Econometric Corporate; Entrepreneurial and Sustainable Finance; Reporting and Bank Accounting; Financial Economics; Banking; Mathematics for Finance; Financial Law.

An Italian-taught study track – Consulenza e direzione aziendale – is also available for application.

Each curriculum includes lab work, thesis, electives and internship.
