Overview
This Master’s degree in Economics from Aix-Marseille University includes a quantitative dimension, which is necessary in a society increasingly overwhelmed by the role of data. Jobs linked to economic analysis and data exploitation will soar.
This master’s degree is co-accredited by the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) and Ecole Centrale Marseille (ECM).
Given the rapid evolution of needs in the labor market, this diploma will train professionals able to adapt to these changes. Such adaptability implies an inclusive comprehension of quantitative phenomena and requires deep technical knowledge in economics. The degree will allow the student to acquire in the first year fundamental knowledge in theoretical economics and quantitative methods. The choice of elective courses offered at the end of the 1st year will make for a first deepening of the student’s knowledge in areas pertaining to the four 2nd year tracks.
