Overview

The Aix-Marseille University Master degree in Finance is divided into 3 paths : Finance - Business and Markets, Wealth Management, Financial Risk Management.

Particular attention is paid to a fundamental and responsible approach to this finance with its latest developments in corporate finance, asset management and also wealth management.

The aim is to control the financial system as a whole in terms of its overall operation and products, as well as that of national and international regulation in an ever more complex environment.

Career

The skills to be acquired must enable students to have the initiative and decision-making autonomy that makes them fit for positions of responsibility in Corporate Finance, Financial Risk Management, Asset Management and in Wealth Management, which operates in administrative and financial departments, in banks, merchant banks and private banks, in insurance companies, but also in management companies, investment funds and services and companies of financial advice.

Students come from the Faculty of Economics and Management of AMU (Economics-Finance, MCF, EMFO, IPBE and ME courses) but also from other French and foreign faculties.
The field is also open to students coming from specific management courses who wish to specialise in Finance, both in our faculty and in those coming from outside establishments: AES, Management, Economics, Law, Bachelor's degree in Management, professional licences, etc.
Admission is based on a file studied by a pedagogical commission which verifies whether the knowledge is sufficient in the fundamental tools of law, economics and management and whether the student's level is compatible with the objectives of the training course.
