Overview
The objective of the Master of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Environment offered by Aix-Marseille University is to train specialists in water and energy resources, Earth surface processes and climate evolution who are able to use innovative methods and technologies to address current and future environmental issues.
The students will have acquired a triple competence: A solid training in the geosciences in line with the latest methodological advances in research, the ability to use all the disciplinary and thematic knowledge acquired in order to propose a new approach to environmental issues and finally, the mastery of a rigorous dissemination of the acquired knowledge both to an audience of experts and to non-specialists.
Career
Graduates will be able to become researchers or engineer-level managers in academia, in companies related to the geosciences and their application to environmental problems, territorial collectivities and other organizations relying on Geosciences expertise. The pursuit of a doctorate in a research laboratory is also possible at the end of the Master.

- Students must submit an application package, which will be examined by the OSU Pythéas pedagogical commission.
- Targeted students are: Students with a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences, Earth and Life Sciences, Physical Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences.
