Students at Master Costume & Alta Moda – Couture Design from Accademia Costume & Moda will be able to pursue a professional career in theatre or cinema productions, creative studios, product or design studios, and cover the various professional roles in the Fashion System, from Research and Material Development, to Design and Product Management, starting their own business or working for companies, productions and ateliers in Italy and abroad.

Programme Structure

Structure:

The 1st Academic Year involves the study of History of Costume, the development of the ability to interpret characters in a historical and contemporary context and the sartorial competence necessary to express the project in various fields (theatre, ballet, opera, cinema, television).
The 2nd Academic Year ideally combines a vision aimed at the future of Alta Moda through intensive workshops in which students’ design method is nourished by theoretical courses and enriched through the implementation of research projects and garment making. History of Fashion and Haute Couture, the latest trends in the visual arts and expertise in contemporary research help to build real research and creativity workshops in synergy with the theoretical-practical courses and designed to generate a wide-ranging design methodology, often in collaboration with the most important names in this sector.
