Overview
This Environmental Science - Soil, Water and Biodiversity (EnvEuro) programme from University of Hohenheim allows you to deepen your knowledge in five different specializations: Water Resources, Soil Resources and Land Use, Ecosystems and Biodiversity, Environmental Management, and Climate Change.
You will study at two of the four member universities of the Euroleague for Life Sciences and receive a full Master's degree from both. The partner universities in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria are Europe’s best in the area of environmental sciences.

It makes sense to complete internships (in Germany or abroad) within the Master's program. The lecturers in the program are happy to help you arrange internships. In addition, the Master's program qualifies students to embark on a doctoral project. Most universities as well as most graduate schools expect above-average performance in the Master's program for this.

General requirements
- First university degree equivalent to a European bachelor's degree in Natural Science, with documented completion of courses comprising natural resources/earth sciences/environmental sciences and at least two of the disciplines: physics/chemistry, biology/ecology, mathematics/statistics. The degree must be obtained at an officially acknowledged institution. The final grade must be above average as defined by the home and host university.
- English Proficiency - Exemptions for nationals of UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA, or holders of a first degree completed in English in those countries.
- Language tests older than 2 years not accepted.
- Knowledge in at least 2 of the disciplines with min 6 ECTS each
- Standard period of study at least 3 years (180 ECTS)
- Proof of registration must be uploaded with application by Jan 15
- Ranking document if final grade not clearly above average
