Overview
The Lingnan University's Health and Social Services Management MSS program aims to:
- To transmit critical skills in leading and managing social and healthcare services.
- To equip students with research and analytical skills in researching and presenting health and social services issues.
- To introduce students to innovative ways of applying ICT in managing health and social service delivery.
- To examine varieties of health-related and social problems from theoretical, practical and comparative perspectives.
- To equip students with knowledge and skills to manage conflicts and build and maintain working relationships with service users and other stakeholders including community-based organisations.
- To introduce students to the concepts and role of Chinese medicine in health service delivery
Learning Outcomes
Graduates of MHSM will be able to:
- Apply theoretical and practical principles and skills to supervise people and manage resources and organisations in health- related social services.
- Demonstrate awareness of the needs of health service users and possess essential skills. in managing service users' expectations.
- Develop critical research skills in examining and presenting issues in health and social services.
- Create innovative ways of incorporating assistive technologies in managing complex health and social service delivery problems.

- Applicants should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised tertiary institution*; and
- English Proficiency
- Upload scanned copies of admission documents to the system:
- Settle the application fee (HK$400) by a credit card. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Applicants who wish to be considered for scholarship should send two recommendation letters in sealed envelopes, sent directly by referees and addressed to the Admissions Office (MHSM, School of Graduate Studies).
