General requirements

All students must go through the selection procedure in which they can be admitted or rejected. In order to be considered for admission, you must at least possess:

a Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering or a related field (e.g. HBO-ICT, Computer Science);

demonstrable knowledge about object-oriented programming, parallel computing, computer networks, databases, algorithms & data structures, software development processes & tools and research methodology;
basic mathematical skills including precalculus, algebra, probability and statistics;
a level of proficiency in English equivalent to TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6 (not necessary if you have a bachelor’s degree from a university in the Netherlands).
