The education at Halmstad University is characterised by our profiling as a university that drives innovation. We make use of the local areas, such as the sea, sandy beaches, agricultural landscape and forests alike as some topics in this programme require environmental sampling in order to carry out laboratory analysis. You will test and work on a multitude of different analysis tools, from analysing water or other samples in the lab, to computer analyses of environmental effects on organisms (including humans) as well as microscopy. You will have access to modern study environments, including state of the art labs and a project room for creating your own program specific study environment.

General requirements
- Degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry or Geology including an independent project 15 credits or Degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering with an environmental orientation including an independent project 15 credits.
- The degree must be equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen or Swedish högskoleingenjörsexamen and must have been awarded from an internationally recognised university. Applicants must have written and verbal command of the English language equivalent to English course 6 in Swedish Upper-Secondary School.
