About the Department

The Department of Computer Science at the College of Science, Korea University started as the Department of Computer Science in the College of Liberal Arts in 1952, and has continued to develop quantitatively and qualitatively as the Department of Computer Science since the Department of Computer Science was separated into the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Physics in 1954. Then, in 1963, the College of Liberal Arts was divided into the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Science, giving it the current name of the Department of Mathematics where you can find the Mathematics program.
