Overview
Chang Gung University Chemical and Materials Engineering program aims to train a higher-level engineer who has solid background in the related fields and has the ability to lead a project. Our faculties, staffs, facilities, research training and course training all make the graduates in our department an enlightening experience.
Overview
One graduate student is under the supervision of one or two professor(s) in the institute. A graduate student can choose one of the research topics in the field of chemical engineering or materials engineering. All of the 15 faculties in the institute are awarded with doctoral degrees in either chemical engineering or materials engineering and most of them have been serving in industries.
Therefore, a research project can involve fundamental understanding of physics or can target at solving an industrial problem. Many research results are publishes in refereed journals and/or are patterned. Hence, our institute is regarded as one of the most active researching institutes in academia and in industry.
