Objectives and Learning Outcomes

The Applied Economics for Agriculture and Environment program at Kasetsart University leads to the Master of Science degree, and trains students to conduct economic research in the fields of applied economics, agricultural and food economics, resource economics, environmental economics, agribusiness.

The program's objective is to produce graduates who are capable of analyzing and synthesizing approaches to development and solving agricultural problems that are suitable for economic, social and environmental resources.

One of the benefits of studying this program is the department's extensive network of national and international collaborations and partner universities. They participate in joint projects and offer exchange and double degree programs with universities in France, Sweden, and Japan.

Applicants must submit these documents with the application form:

A scholarship supported by public or private organizations for a master’s degree study
Good academic records in economics and quantitative courses
A good concept note for potential research proposal
Proof of English proficiency requirement by the Graduate School, Kasetsart University
Statement of purpose
Three letters of recommendation by former advisors and/or supervisors
